TedPage: Inkscape work

Well, it looks like we're actually getting closer to finishing the Pangoification (the requirement for the next release), and I haven't finished anything that I wanted to get done... I think I'm going to have to prioritize. I think that the export stuff is gonig to have to wait, it is alot of work, and it is nasty work at that. Plus, it works pretty well right now. Things I want to get done for the next release:

• Extensions parameters storage. This would allow things like the printer being saved in the print dialog. It would also do nice things for other save extensions (and it is a requirement for the future).
• File name handling. There is a nice proposal by Bulia about how the directories should work for open/save/export/etc. Now it needs to be implemented.
• Save/open settings need to be integrated into the dialog. I think that this is important so that the whole thing feels more fluid. It can be done with a GtkSocket.
• Making the append extension checkbox insensitive for autodetect. More work that it appears, but it makes alot more sense.
• Getting the save and open parameters into the preferences dialog.

Wow, that seems like a lot... better get started!
