TedPage: Financing the Iraq War

With some reports putting the cost of the war in Iraq at $200 million dollars a day I got thinking about what my part of that is. With approximately 300 million people in the US, but many of them children, I figure I'm paying about $1 a day for the war. How many shares of Halliburton would I need to buy to pay for that? It turns out, about 10. Maybe we should just finance the entire war this way? The whole 'oil money' thing didn't work out (surprise).
